FastPay is a start-up based in Los Angeles and New York that provides an online payment and working capital solution for digital media companies. As a new product offering, FastPay requested I design a clear, concise one-sheet infographic that best communicated their unique selling proposition to a diverse audience of decision-makers. When I talk to new designers, this is the project I bring up. I couldn’t have struggled more with the topic here, I know nothing of finance, yet my challenge was to explain it in simple visual terms to an audience like myself. I am not saying the result was perfect, but I learned a lot about design. In design, every vertical has something to teach you.
